This category is for city hotels that operate throughout the year. The awards will go to the most successful hotel models that stand out for their innovative and creative solutions in the hospitality sector, in their respective categories and according to their room quality. The Awards Committee will also take into consideration the management strategy of a hotel unit.
The criteria on which the Committee will base its decision on the best Greek hotels in the selected categories are:

- Innovation (20%),
- Quality (20%),
- Value For Money (10%),
- Reputation – Recognizability (10%).
2nd Category – Best Greek Resorts
Resorts usually have bigger facilities and offer a wide range of products to the tourist-consumer. This category is addressed to hotel resorts but also seasonal hotel units that stand out in some – or all – of the above sub-categories, the combination of which diversifies the offered hospitality product. This category is also for theme hotels that offer unique alternative services to their clientele.

3rd Category – Best Greek Hotel & Resort Facilities
Undoubtedly food and fun are key to the enjoyment of a tourist and crucial for hotel businesses that seek to provide their clientele with the best possible services. This category is addressed to Hotel Infrastructure Departments that ensure their customers enjoy themselves by offering them unforgettable experiences in the areas of gastronomy and entertainment. Awards will also be given to the Best Hotel Conference Center as well as the best and most authentic “Greek Breakfast” offered at a Greek hotel – the latter should be officially included in the “Greek Breakfast” program of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels in order to be nominated.

4th Category – Special Awards
he special awards aim to highlight those hotels that add value to the hospitality infrastructure product of Greece.

The honorary distinctions aim to reward personalities of the Greek hotel sector whose careers are dedicated to the upgrading of the country’s hospitality product as well as new entrepreneurs who have notably succeeded in the field of Greek tourism.
